“But is it really for me? I’m not sure if I can get such amazing results with calisthenics…”

 

That’s exactly what I was thinking when I first tried doing some push-ups and pull-ups at my house. Let me tell you the story…

I wasn’t born muscular at all.

 

Back in 2015 when I was in High School I weighed only 57kg (125lbs). I really hated my look. 

 

I felt intimidated by all these lucky guys with great genetics, getting all the girls’ attention and being great at sports.

 

I even remember being bullied at school because of how small and weak I used to be. I was feeling embarrassed, I had no self-confidence and zero respect from my colleagues…

 

I knew I need to get bigger so I decided to start working out

 

How it turned out? Well…

At first I thought you have to lift weights to build muscle …

 

Friends, the internet…

 

everywhere, people were saying that you have to go to the gym because there’s no other way to build a strong, aesthetic physique… so, I listened to them and went to the gym for the first time.

 

Indeed, the people I saw there looked great… wide shoulders, and big chests…

 

I thought… if they can look like that, so can I, and I started regular gym workouts…

 

On one hand, I was happy because I finally started doing something about my physique… but after three and a half months, I began to get tired of it – it just wasn’t my thing…

 

I didn’t make any progress at the gym.

 

After years I realized why – I just didn’t like lifting weights so I didn’t push myself at all!

It was in my 2x2m room where everything changed for me

 

Sick and tired of the horrible gym experience I decided to try something new.

 

I bumped into some Instagram posts about calisthenics and it really caught my interest. 

 

I felt inspired by all these crazy movements that I saw and started wondering how it is possible to look that great and be able to perform such incredible bodyweight exercises at the same time.

 

I didn’t think too much and just gave it a shot!

 

At first, I was struggling even with the most basic exercises but surprisingly I started seeing some progress. At home. With almost no fitness equipment.

 

Encouraged by that, I decided to hit a local calisthenics park and see what can be done there.

 

I liked the fact that there were only a few people training.

 

Among these people was one, advanced athlete who seemed especially friendly and helpful.

 

His name was Mattia Sampaoli

Mattia Sampaoli turned out to be a WSWCF certified calisthenics coach with more than 15 years of experience in yoga and calisthenics.

 

Thanks to his tips I was able to take my training to whole new level.

 

We made friends, exchanged experience and started training together.

 

Based on our experience we collabed to create Simplified Calisthenics System.

The Simplified Calisthenics System

 

The Calisthenics System is a complete, step-by-step guide that can turn anybody into a calisthenics athlete.

Being a calisthenics athlete means building a body that performs as great as it looks. Our holistic approach to training allows you to:

  • improve your mobility,
  • learn compound calisthenics movements, 
  • finally feel proud of your physique

How it works?

1.
Week 1

We start off by assessing your mobility and strength level and tell you exactly where to start based on your performance. It doesn't matter whether you're a complete beginner or experienced.

2.
Week 2

We start off with introduction workouts to master scapula positions, learn about hollowbody position and proper core muscles engagement to execute all exercises properly.

3.
Week 3-7

We start with the first workout program. You will know exactly how to perform each exercise, as well as its easier and harder variations. When you meet the next level's requirements, we move forward to the next program.

4.
Week 7-11

We move to second workout program with new variations of bodyweight exercises!

5.
Week 11-15

Third workout program is going to continue for atleast 4 weeks. By this time you'll notice first body improvements, more confidence in exercises and strength improvement.

6.
Week 16

It's a time to update your measurements, check new strength level and mobility for comprehensive summary of your achievements. This will provide us valuable insights into your progress and guide our next steps toward achieving your workout goals.
